programmatic writing
End of Project Brief - South Africa

ICAP at Columbia University is a global health leader working to improve the health of families and communities through work at all levels of the health system over 20 countries, including some of the world’s most challenging, resource-limited environments.

CHALLENGE:

ICAP’s groundbreaking MOSAIC Men’s Health Initiative, a five year, CDC-funded project  focused on the expansion of HIV prevention, care and treatment services for men who have sex with men (MSM) in South Africa. As the project was coming to a close, ICAP’s communications team wanted to take the opportunity to take a look back and document specific programmatic highlights to share the project’s many achievements  with the public.

SOLUTION:

Working closely with ICAP’s NY-based Senior Communications Manager and senior project staff based in South Africa, I conducted desk research, interviewed the key project staff, wrote and edited a concise six page project brief. Pull quotes, project graphics and images were also indicated for use by the designers.
